NEW DELHI: A massive fire broke out in a factory of outer Delhi's Nangloi during the early hours of Saturday, destroying plastic items worth lakhs. Two people, who were inside the factory, had a close shave.
Confirming the incident, fire department officials said that the information was received at around 3.55am, soon after which eight fire tenders were sent to the spot.
A total of 25 fire tenders were sent to the spot till morning and fire was finally doused at 9am.
Police said that two workers were asleep when fire broke out but somehow managed to find a way to escape before fire engulfed the entire building.
Delhi police officers said that they've initiated an investigation into the case.
